CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE FROM WRECKLAND

Corona Virus Notice

At Wreckland, our top priority is promoting the safety and well-being of our customers, team members, and the broader community. We are monitoring news about COVID-19 (the coronavirus) and understand the concern the spread of the virus has caused. We want to assure you that we are committed to being responsive to the needs of our customers as the situation evolves.

We’ve always taken great pride in keeping our auto wrecking facility clean and well-run for our customers. To make sure we can keep on serving you to the standard you love and expect, we have put in place an updated cleaning and sanitising plan for our auto salvage yard to ensure they’re cleaned more frequently and with extra care. The same applies to our car removal and auto parts departments.

Social Distancing Guidelines at our Auto Salvage Facility in Auckland

The safety and wellbeing of our customers, team, and all New Zealanders is our utmost priority. Wreckland want to let you know what we are doing in response to coronavirus (COVID-19).

We are closely following the Ministry of Health guidelines and recommendations on the steps we should take to help prevent the spread of this virus. We shared health and safey instructions with our employees on the importance of frequent handwashing, avoiding contact with eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands, and avoiding close contact with people who are sick. We instruct employees who are exhibiting symptoms of illness to stay home or seek care from a medical provider when necessary, and provide additional paid time off when needed to do so.

This is an evolving situation, so please check back here regularly for updates as we closely monitor the situation and respond.

As circumstances continue to develop, one thing will remain the same: We will make our decisions with the health, safety and wellbeing of our customers, team members and communities as our highest priority.

Ngā mihi nui,
